Making a fish

" Make a fish"
On 4 July 2013,we make a fish design using a polystyrene. Before we start do a fish model,we listened a briefing by Chef Azrul first to clarify the problems. But this time a little bit different,we must coat the fish with a butter to make it more beautiful.As we all know,the steps to make a fish design same as make a swan.Here are all the steps to make a fish block.

1)First,sketch roughly a design of fish on polystyrene block.

2) Cut the inner layer of fish.

3) Still cutting the remaining of the fish.

4) Trimmed using knife blade and trimmed it until it become smaller.
5)Then take a sand paper to make it smoother.

6) Lastly,coated a fish block with a 2 or 3 layer of butter and let it dry in  cool place.

7) Here the final result.

Lastly but not least,I will like to thank to both my friends,especially to Aliaa and Adilla by making this fish model so adorable and also not forget like to thank a lot to Chef Azrul because helps us a lot during process and give us a guidelines to make these fish model.

Making a Swan

"Make a Swan"
This our first day of our class Pastry Artistry on 20 June 2013 with Chef Azrul..We started our class in second week of class so we were very curious what we are going to do in these class.So we search the picture of swan on internet before class started.

Before I forgot,I want to introduce my own members in my group whose are,Farah Aliaa and Noruladilla.I'm very glad and happy working with these two because they are super duper awesome..Okay,let's back to the topic.Chef Azrul gave us our first task that was ' Making Swan using a Polystyrene .To be honest,it's not an easy task to do because it's need a lot of skills and patience to do this but don't worry I will show here are the steps about how to make a swan.So here are all the steps about how to make a swan.

1)First,sketch a swan that drawn by Chef Azrul.

2) Cut accordingly same to the sketch that we drawn above using blade or cutter.
3) Then we cut another half on the other side which is it's body.
4) After we get the shape that we want,trimmed it slowly.

5) Trim and trim until it looked so neatly and get the shape of swan.
6) Lastly,to make our swan more smooth,we smooth it with sand paper.

7) Final result of Swan :)
